Drunk workers, critical shortages of equipment, medicine slow health sector recovery

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema’s government plans to employ 11,000 health workers and get the health sector back on track. Our report suggests that without addressing challenges facing health centres like Lungomukuta Health Post in Milenge District in Luapula Province, government’s plan is at risk of not achieving the desired results.
